About Us

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin. I received my M.F.A. in directing from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pa. I have been passionate about photography since I was in grade school.  On field trips, I was always the one taking pictures of everyone else.       Living overseas in Saudi Arabia gave me the chance to travel around the world and take pictures of all of the countries I visited.  When I moved to Arizona, I made it my mission to find the beauty in our state and took landscape pictures all over the state.  Now, I have been a professional photographer for over 10 years.       I have studied photography extensively and have photographed hundreds of weddings.   For the past six years I have been a member of the Arizona Professional Photographers Assocation have continued my education at monthly meetings. Three years ago, as a culmination of my study, I earned the distinguished Professional Photographers Certification.

I am available for weddings, family and personal portraits either in my studio, outdoors, or at your home.  I am also available for events, parties, headshots and children and pet photography.  I am demanding of myself and my work, but outgoing and fun with my clients.  My passion is to create images that you will cherish forever.  I am honored that many of my clients have chosen to have enlarged portraits of their family that I have taken to be hung on their walls. 

For several years I have been donating my time to Career Connectors.  I take portraits pro bono for people who are looking for jobs and need head shots.  I take my lights and backdrops to their Scottsdale location once every month.  It is very satisfying.

In addition, I occasionally shoot dress rehearsals for Theatre Artist Studio pro bono.
